*Our popular Gansey Cardigan in a 2ply fine knit baby alpaca in Light Peacock melange. A piece to cherish forever*

Women’s vintage style cardigan in textured knit pattern inspired by the classic Gansey fishermen's sweater and made from 100% organic baby alpaca. Designed by UMIFORM, our own Woollykins Women's label and ethically made in Peru in collaboration with My Alpaca Copenhagen.

Past seasons comparison: AW24 edition is in a 2ply making it a less chunky knit than AW22 with more bounce and the pattern really pops in texture. We love it even more!

Baby alpaca fibres are super soft and lightweight. It is known for providing super insulation due to the microscopic air pockets in the fibres, therefore it keeps you warm in the winter and cool in the summer. The same air pockets make the fibres feel as light as air and yet the fibre is very strong, meaning it lasts longer than most other similar fibres like wools, cashmere and silk. With care, alpaca knits become heirloom pieces that you will pass down through the generations.
