Suggested fabrics: Faux fur with a knit or woven backing (short or medium pile, up to 10 mm/3/8”), blended raincoat fabrics, Dewspo, twill, taffeta, Taslan, etc.
For the lining, the designer recommends artificial fibres (viscose), blends (viscose + elastane, viscose + polyester), or synthetics (polyester, polyester + elastane). The lining fabric must be smooth, slippery, and opaque.
For the interlining, use spunbond 30 g/m2.
The garment in the photos is made of faux fur (100% polyester). The fabric is soft, malleable, and medium weight. The pile height is 5 mm (3/16""). The lining is 45% viscose + 55% polyester. The interlining is spunbond 30 g/m2. This material can be found in gardening or hardware stores.
