Buy the Sonny Lining Add-on sewing pattern from Tilly and the Buttons. Make your extra special by lining the bodice and sleeves. This add-on pack includes bonus pattern pieces and step-by-step instructions for lining all versions of the Sonny Jacket. You’ll get a professional finish on the inside, and the pattern even includes a hanging loop so you can display your gorgeous creation with pride.

NOTE: This is not a complete pattern. You must have already purchased the original  pattern to use this add-on. If you have not yet purchased the original pattern, you can do so . 

This sewing pattern is available to buy in the following formats:

– PDF (available to download immediately after purchase). What is a 

– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). What is 

Suggested fabrics: Slippery lining fabric such as cupro (Bemberg), viscose (rayon), acetate or polyester lining. Alternatively, you can line the sleeves in this slippery fabric and use a cotton lawn, viscose or teddy/sherpa fleece for the bodice lining.

Fabric requirements: These fabric lengths are for the lining fabric only – for the outer fabric lengths, please see the original Sonny Jacket pattern.

140 cm (56″) wide fabric: Hip-length, 1.3 - 2.2 m (1 1/2 - 2 1/2 yd) // Cropped length, 1.2 - 2 m (1 3/8 - 2 1/4 yd).

115 cm (45″) wide fabric: Hip-length, 1.7 - 2.7 m (1 7/8 - 3 yd) // Cropped length, 1.5 - 2.5 m (1 3/4 - 2 3/4 yd).

Sizing: UK 6 – 34. Please check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

PDF pattern includes: Step-by-step instructions; A4/US letter print-at-home pattern (26 pages); A0 copy shop pattern (2 sheets) // Layers: No // Projector file: No.
